Introduction

It is with great pleasure that we introduce the 10th International Adrenal Cancer Symposium, set to take place in the historic city of Brescia, Italy, from October 16-18, 2026. This symposium is a crucial gathering of clinicians, researchers, and allied professionals who are dedicated to studying and treating adrenal malignancies, particularly the extremely rare and challenging Adrenocortical Carcinoma (ACC). By bringing together basic science, translational research, and clinical practice, the program will promote the sharing of latest discoveries, therapeutic innovations, and multidisciplinary care strategies. The dynamic partnership between the University of Brescia and the University of Torino is central to the organization of this event. These institutions have been cooperating in coordinated research efforts on adrenal neoplasms for a long time. The decision to host the symposium in Brescia not only honours this elegant and dynamic city in northern Italy, but also offers delegates a rich environment -both academically and culturally- in which to engage.

The meeting aims to bring together multiple facets of adrenal oncology
Molecular & Genetic Advances: Exploring tumorigenesis in ACC, including biomarkers, genomics, and emerging liquid-biopsy technologies.
Translational Bridges: Linking bench to bedside by emphasizing how mechanistic insights can inform patient care, and how clinical observations can drive research questions.
Clinical Innovation: Surgical strategies, adjuvant therapies, systemic treatments (including mitotane, chemotherapy regimens, novel targeted agents, immunotherapy), and multidisciplinary management of complex cases.
Networking & Collaboration: Fostering international partnerships -between endocrine oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, nuclear medicine specialists, pathologists, and patient advocates- to accelerate progress in this rare field.
Education & Mentoring: Providing early-career researchers and clinicians with opportunities to engage, present, and learn from established experts in the field of adrenal carcinoma.

We look forward to welcoming you to Brescia
